Do you crate dogs while they wait?
Never, unless your dog prefers it. Crating is always optional. We work at their pace and keep the shop calm so every dog can settle in comfortably.
My dog is anxious. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Nervous and reactive dogs are some of our most regular clients. Our groomers are experienced with fearful dogs, and we give them extra time to settle. If you're worried, call us first. We'll walk you through what to expect.
How much does grooming cost for my dog?
Pricing is by your dog's size. Full Grooms start at $75 for an X-small dog and go to $170 for an X-large. Your groomer confirms the exact price after a quick look at coat condition. See the full chart in the Services section above.
Do I need an appointment for a nail trim?
No appointment needed. Walk in any day we're open (Tuesday-Sunday, 9-5) and we'll fit you in by groomer availability. Nail trims are $16, and every 10th one is free.
What's the deposit for new clients?
First-time appointments require a small deposit to hold your slot, it comes off your final groom price and is refundable if you cancel 24+ hours in advance. Questions? Call us at (613) 745-5808.
What should I bring to my dog's first appointment?
Just your dog and proof of up-to-date vaccinations (rabies and bordetella). Your groomer will do a quick consult at drop-off to confirm the style and price before we start.
Do you groom senior dogs or dogs with health issues?
Yes. Our groomers have decades of experience with senior dogs and those with joint pain, skin conditions, or mobility issues. We keep sessions shorter if needed and always let you know about anything we notice during the groom.
How do I book an appointment?
We're a small shop and groom one dog at a time, so daily spots are limited. Book online at tlc4dogs.com. It takes about 2 minutes to pick your date, service, and dog size, or call us at (613) 745-5808 and we'll find your nearest opening. We're here Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm.
